Ever wonder what it’s like to work as part of the team at Orbit Energy & Power? Here’s a little peek inside the company with Cassidy, in Marketing & Design!
Why do you like working with Orbit Energy & Power?
In my role, I get to meet so many interesting people and get involved in a variety of different tasks and projects. It’s never boring!
What does a typical day at Orbit look like?
Every day is different. For me, there are always projects to work on, like creating ads, scheduling meetings with partners, or going to local events. So there are very few days that are really typical! Each day we just work our hardest and do our best to make sure that we’re providing the best service for our customers that we can.
What’s your favorite part about the team-oriented environment at Orbit?
I love that we can all work together on projects and we still are happy to spend lunch times with our coworkers. Even after difficult days, the Orbit team always bands together.
Who is your favorite Philadelphia sports team?
I’m not much of a sports enthusiast, but going to watch a Flyers hockey game is always a good time! It’s hard not to get caught up in the excitement.
How did you first hear about Orbit? What stood out to you?
I first heard about Orbit when I was looking for new employment, actually! I first met Sean, the president of the company, and his passion and excitement for what he does stood out the most, as well as the opportunity to work on so many different projects.
What’s different about working at Orbit versus any other job/career you have had?
Orbit is always very excited about new ideas and opportunities. There’s a lot of room to grow as an employee and gain new experience in your career.
What’s your favorite movie?
There are so many different great movies to choose from, it’s difficult! If I have to narrow it down, I’d go with the Star Wars franchise. You can never go wrong with “A New Hope!”
Who’s your celebrity crush?
Gotta go with Ryan Reynolds or John Krasinski on that one!
What’s your relationship like with other team members and how has it evolved over time?
My relationship with the rest of the Orbit team is kind of unique, I think, in that I work with people from each division of Orbit. Since I do marketing and design work for Orbit as a whole, that includes working in each service area. Over time it’s gotten easier to figure out what exactly each team needs and how to help accomplish their goals.
